The mixed folding door
provides the solution with solid timber to the inside (65mm), to match the
look of your room and aluminium cladding
to the exterior (15mm), to match the remainder
of your windows which means you can get the look you
want. We have set the standard with the mixed
folding door's superior thermal qualities, as the majority of
competitors can merely offer an aluminium door with a internal timber
cladding.

Panel
widths can be up to 1100mm
wide and a maximum height of up to 2800mm.

Two
choices of track: a standard weathered track for a severe weather rated
system or, for improved safety, an
aluminium flush track set into the floor. This track also gives the
additional benefit of a level walkthrough.

Security consists of a three-point top and bottom shoot bolt
mechanism, which is incorporated into the framework within each
intermediate panel. For improved security all folding sliding door
systems are internally glazed.

A unique advantage over
the competition is that the shoot rods can be locked into a second
position, allowing partial-opening
for trickle ventilation whilst leaving the doors securely locked.

The natural character of
wood to the inside is perfectly preserved by using Sikkens micro-porous
water based wood stains. As
our standard timber door systems are fully finished which
consists of one basecoat and two topcoats. The external aluminium
cladding can be finished to any special RAL colour (in addition you can
specify the level of paint finish). All
handles and hinges are specially designed to complement the door system.
